I’m really tempted to buy Hauppauge’s HD PVR Gaming Edition.

From the reviews and videos I’ve watched, it has good quality streaming with little lag. I think the only real problem I’d have is with my internet, but I plan on dealing with that when I get back home.

Of course I’d have to completely redo my set up at home, but I’ve been meaning to do that for a while anyway, so really all it’d do is give me more initiative to do so. Plus it’d be a hell lot easier to show my friends parts from games, much easier then attempting to describe it and then find a video on the internet.

It’d set me back around $200, but I can cover that by taking every job I get offered. And if push comes to shove I know some favors I can call in to get more jobs.
